The endearing tale of Disney's animated classic 101 DALMATIANS continues to unfold in the delightful, all-new 101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE. It's a fun-filled adventure fresh with irresistible original music and loveable new characters, voiced by Jason Alexander, Martin Short and Barry Bostwick. Lost in a sea of spots, little Patch longs to stand out from the other puppies and dreams of being a "One Of A Kind Wonder Dog" like his favorite TV star, Thunderbolt. When Patch accidentally gets separated from his family, he takes the opportunity to meet his hero and, miraculously, finds himself in the real-life role of Thunderbolt's sidekick. Meanwhile, Cruella has become a patron of the arts after discovering the spotty paintings of an eccentric new artist named Lars. To inspire him, she kidnaps all of the other Dalmatian puppies. Together, Patch and Thunderbolt have to figure out a way to save the day, and, through his own acts of heroism, Patch discovers that he truly is one-of-a-kind. Catalog #: DIS024010012

Movie Details: Bonus Features 1. One of the biggest challenges animators faced was hand-drawing enough spots to cover all of the Dalmatians for an entire full-length film. "There are 99 puppies in the film, averaging a dozen spots each. That's about 1,200 spots in each frame," says co-writer, co-director Brian Smith. "Twenty-four frames per second -– you do the math. I stopped counting at 10,000."
2. To maintain the feel of the original "101 Dalmatians," made by Disney's legendary Nine Old Men, the animators created complex backgrounds that are "kind of line work over a painting. There's a great deal of texture, and a sort of density to the layouts and backgrounds," says co-writer, co-director Jim Kammerud.
3. British youth Bobby Lockwood makes his acting debut as the voice of Patch. The filmmakers cast Bobby after conducting an extensive search for the voice of their "lead puppy."
4. Renowned techno group Apollo Four Forty wrote and performed the song "One Of A Kind" for the film.
